                          LOVE NEVER DIES

                         Chapter 1 – Memories

They say that love is like a game, you can get in it for a lot of time, but you'll always leave, no matter what… well, my game started 14 years ago… I am Stompin' Bob, the bassist of the famous Penguin Band, but something happened and we don't play our instruments a lot right now…

Anyways, like I was saying, my game started 14 years ago, when I was 5 years old… I was in a playground, surrounded by a lot of people I didn't know and they seemed to be happy, with nothing to worry about. I was really afraid of talking to someone because I thought that everybody would hate me… when I turned back and saw a penguin in a corner, talking to some furry small things, one of them came near to me and I petted it, when I suddenly felt a bucket or something really hard that hit me in the head.

10 minutes later, I woke up and in front of me, there was a pink penguin with an Australian hat and a whistle with an image of one of those furry creatures… the penguin was really close to me and her beak was near my eyes.

"AAAGH! Who are you?" I said scared.
"Howdy, mate! My name is PH and I'm sorry if I scared you!" she replied.
"I-It's ok… but, do you know who threw that?" I said pointing at a bucket.
"Well…-She said slowly- I'm sorry, buddy, it was me. I don't like when someone touches my puffles…"
"Puffles? What's that?"
"Puffles are small, wild creatures who love to eat O-Berries and they're really cute!" She answered.

She kept talking about puffles, I've never heard that name before, the more she talked about it, I got more confused when I suddenly fell asleep.

"ZzZzZzZz…"

"Hey! –She slapped me- I'm talking 'bout puffles here! By the way, what's your name?"
"Stompin' Bob…" I replied as I touched my face, trying not to cry from the pain.
"That's a cute and funny name!" She said laughing.
"Thanks, I guess…"

We became friends really soon, I never thought that we could get to something serious or become more than friends. PH was really nice to me and she was the best friend you could ever have.

6 years passed, and we were 11 years old, but still the best friends in the world.

One day, we were talking in the park; our parents were drinking coffee not so far away from us, when we saw a guy giving a rose to a girl.

"Ugh… I hate those things, it's so annoying when they give those gifts!" PH told me.
"Why? I find it quite cute…" I asked.
"You know what would be better? A puffle! Who doesn't love puffles?"
"PH, nobody knows what a puffle is…"
"Of course they all know! YOU ARE THE ONE WHO DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING!" She said crying, while she started to run away.
"PH!" I screamed as I chased her.

I looked for her for a while, when I found out that PH was in the top of a tree, looking at the sunset. I climbed up the tree and quickly sit next to her.

"Ya know… I'd love to explore the world… Club Penguin is really big, but I want to go somewhere else… like Australia, I was born there…" She said as she placed her head softly in my shoulder.
I blushed a little, and then I said "Why would you like to leave? This place is amazing! My dream is to make my own band…"
"Heh, you don't understand me at all… even though you're my friend, nobody understands me…"
"Why you say so?" I asked
"Well…-PH answered- they always think that I'm the animal freak, nobody listens to me, and the few who do, are from my family or they're not here anymore…"

Surprisingly, I understood her, I knew how she felt… we were still looking at the sunset when I heard that she said "Stomp, you're the best"
"Thanks… you are awesome PH"

Those years were amazing… sadly, I can't remember more about it, but I do remember that, in that same year, PH went to Australia for 4 years… I missed her so much.
